Haven't blogged in this blog for a while (since I spent more time in my other one =S), but I still read manga and watch anime and all that. :D So I just read the new update of Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu and I just have to say that I'm seriously sick of it. I followed this manga for a while, and I'm seriously sick of it. So cliche, the heroine is terribly annoying and I just can't put up with it any longer without ranting like crazy. (Though I'll probably finish it...just to finish it).
Summary: Tsubaki is a girl who loves making her younger sister's hair pretty every morning, but she doesn't think that kind of style suits herself! The day of her High School Beginning Ceremony, after she failed in being the top student (who usually makes the ceremony speech), she finds herself sitting next to the actual top student of the first years, the worst, rudest guy ever, Kyouta. She ends up cutting his hair on purpose because of the awful things he says to her. Kyouta demands that Tsubaki pays him back with her body, but Tsubaki fixes his hair instead--making it even shorter! After that, Kyouta unexpectedly kisses Tsubaki and swears that he'll take away all her firsts.

It seems pretty cliche, but that's what I get for reading a shoujo! Anyways, at first...it was pretty okay. I quite like the artwork and everything...so I continued to read. First of all, Hibino is not even ugly! All she needed to do is to dress up a little and get rid of those pig tails! Seriously. D:
As the story progresses on, I start hating the heroine...she's so annoying and keeps misunderstanding, causing problems and being very inconsiderate to her boyfriend! How hard is it to talk to your boyfriend about things? Kyouta is by far the sweetest boyfriend ever! He loves her, that's for sure, and protects her. She wrongly accuses him without talking to him properly and hurts him. If I were him, I would never even put up with her from the start!
Anyways, what got me right now (the most recent chapter) is how Hibino is starting ANOTHER fight. Seriously, they just got over a problem and now she creates another one. (SPOILER) They're on a trip, for pete's sakes!, how hard is it to spend a little time with your own boyfriend? She's already one of the top students...does she really need to study that much, even when she's guaranteed to be getting into a school? Way da hurt your boyfriend by telling him he's hindering you. She's so inconsiderate! And now, after seeing kyouta let some girls in his room (because he's angry and everything) she's going to misunderstand, they're probably going to go through another fight and maybe even suggest break up, until someone maybe tells her she's misunderstood and then they're back together. One way or another, they will be better again and she would realize how much she loves him and blah blah blah.
I'm seriously really tired of this whole thing. Nothing new, the heroine really annoys me.
I find more pleasure reading Hana to Akuma, which is way cuter...funnier and just more enjoyable to read. (And here I thought, a manga with some smut would have a more original plot...bleh)
Yesterday, the last day of school for me, AVATAR came out. My friend and I lined up for about half an hour to buy tickets and we were there quite early. I was really excited and I had waited months for this movie to come out. I think from the summer or even before that.
Avatar is the movie written and directed by James Cameron. It took I think 7 years to develop and it was his first movie in 12 years. The casts in Avatar is no Johnny Depp or Anne Hathaway, the actor playing Jake Sully, the main character, was an Australian actor, Sam Worthington. The movie is basically about humans who are going to the planet that has simliar features as Pandora. The main character, Jake Sully, had a twin brother who trained to be in this program to use his own avatar and negotiate with the Na'vi people of Pandora, but he passed away. Avatars are created using human DNA and the DNA of the native Na'vi people. As a twin, Jake Sully replaced his brother. He was an ex-marine who lost both his legs. Princess of one of the Na'vi tribes.
I seriously loved the movie and I believe the months of waiting was amazing. It's really amazing how they were able to make the 3D so realistic! I loved it~ and I really high recommend watching Avatar. The music was great and wow, I was just blown away by the creative creatures of Pandora. The planet was just sooooo beautiful, I want to be there myself. The 'alien', well, Na'vi people were really pretty, their skin and all that. I don't know how to put the feeling I felt in words, but I swear, if you don't watch this movie...you're missing out a lot. When the movie ended, I felt completed, you could just ask me to die. I'm sure there are a lot of great movies out there, but this...this, to me, is a masterpiece. This is amazing in its own way...Avatar is something you have to watch at least once in your life. The beauty in this movie is just...really awesome. The feeling I got...sigh~ I don't know how to describe it. I'm sure there are many movies that will be just as great but the effects!
Anyways, earlier, I read some stuff about people protesting against the release of Avatar? I think that's just pure stupidity. Not that I'm against gay people of lesbians. I just find it ridiculous that anyone would want a movie to stop because the director made the futuristic aliens straight. I don't really fully understand the movie, but I don't think James Cameron made the aliens straight just to offend gays or lesbians or generless people and transgendered people. It's just pure stupidity they're protesting against this movie.
Trying to stop a movie that took SEVEN years to produce because of this is PURE stupidity! I know the gay pride thing is really important, but I don't think stopping a movie that didn't even mean to offend people is just weird and ridiculous. There was also something about how they're protesting about Avatar because they think the future, people would be genderless or something. Like seriously..this is just a FICTIONAL MOVIE. How would anyone know what will happen? They're just ALIENS...how would ANONE know if aliens would be straight or not? Lets just make people's lives easier and stop caring about the details of whether aliens can be gay or not. And why can't humans still have gender in the future? Why can't we stay the way we are now?
I may be wrong since I don't know the full story, but I find the protesting stupid and ridiculous. Thank god they didn't stop the release of the movie, if they did. I would cry 'bout the fact that I didn't get to watch this movie.
Well, today is supposedly my birthday since I was born in Hong Kong, but anyways, it's not the 17th yet so tommorow is my brithday =D
I've been wondering (a little depressing), but why do people celebrate birthdays? Gathering all their friends to celebrate the fact that they're one year closer to death? Really negative thinking, yes, but I have been wondering about that a little while. Every birthday, you're getting a closer chance to your death. So when it's your death anniversary, why do people mourn and come and visit your grave?
They should be celebrating your death anniversary. It means you're one year closer to being reborned? Or one more year of living peacefully in heaven =D
Anyways, just some thoughts. Happy birthday to all those whose birthdays are on the 16th and 17th of December. :)

You may expect, or not expect, but I am a fanfiction writer =) Although I have a lot of fanfic projects going on, the one I'm majorly focussing on is: If Only You Knew. I have just updated! So proud xD haha~ The characters in this story is Big Bang, TOP and Ji Yong, along with the other members and some made up fictional characters.
Basically, this fanfic revolves around a girl from a wealthy family. Because of her family background, she has been 'used' and never exactly experienced anything 'real' which results to why she is so closed up. When she was to move to Korea because her parents had some business there, she met Kwon Ji Yong. At first, Kwon Ji Yong was only using Keiko, thinking she's unique and he wanted to waste time. Slowly, as he got to meet her in just a couple hours, he had learned so much about her, he was really drawn to her.
But as a snobby, arrogant playboy, Ji Yong wouldn't admit his curiousity for this new girl. Keiko found out and was terribly hurt since she thought he was her first real friend that found out about her family, but still treated her the same. They also got along really well, opening up to each other. Although Ji Yong really mind the fact that her had hurt Keiko, Ji Yong didn't want to leave his crush, Sohee, so he asked his best friend, TOP to go see if Keiko is okay.
Seeing Keiko, TOP knew Ji Yong wouldn't love Keiko the way Keiko is treasuring Ji Yong so he wanted to protect her. TOP promises to help Keiko forget Ji Yong...
from there on...comes tears, pain, heartbreak alongside of happiness, love and new friendships.

After writing a few chapters and needing to go back to gather information, I realized I made things happen WAY to quick which totally sucks. Some things aren't written awesomely because I keep changing what I originally planned as more ideas pop into my head. Also, there are many typos and grammatic errors, I'm sure.

It was very very emotional actually. Well, I didn't cry as much as I did for 1 Litre of Tears, but still. It's actually a really strong drama that does teach us to treasure life. In the end, I did forgive Haruma's jerky-ness. He's hawt D= I love his fur jacket. haha! (Of course, I hope the fur is fake since I am against real fur)
Anyways. In the end, I did enjoy the drama. I read on wiki that supposedly, the drama was only 10 episodes, but because of the success, they made one extra. I actually didn't mind if they ended it at episode 10 because it won't really affect the awesome-ness of this drama. To be honest, I really did want to see something like "10 years later". Perhaps I'm asking too much, but I would want to see them together and all that. That would've satisfied me, but one way or another, it was really good overall. I don't think I have wasted my time watching this at all!
It was meaningful. Love actually really strong and unexplainable. :)

I'm back again, with some of thoughts on the current drama I watching. Every since I caught up to Tokyo DOGS, I am now watching 14 Sai no Haha (Mother at 14: Born to Love). This drama has been on my list since forever! I saw it on a commercial at Hong Kong so I'm totally pysched(?) on watching =D Glad I have finally been able to! Although it's not a new drama, it's still really awesome<3
Basically, this drama is about a girl in junior high (age 14), Miki Ichinose (Mirai Shida), who fell in love with a boy whose one year older than her, Satoshi Kirino (Haruma Miura). They met in cram school and they basically started falling in love.
Miki becomes pregnant with his Kirino's baby and that's when things become more complicated. Kirino is from a wealthy family-ish. His mom is the president of a very successful company and single-handedly raised him. She raised him under very strict and proper rules/ways and never expected any problems to come from him. Of course, Kirino is not very happy with his life and when it was found out that he was Miki's child's father, his mom wouldn't believe it.
When she was finally convinced, Kirino's mom forbade him to see Miki ever again. As all this was going on, the Ichinose household was facing even more problems. Miki's parents would not accept the fact that Miki was pregnant, especially her dad. They wanted her to abort it immediately (of course), but she refuses. Rumours begin to spread around school about Miki having a baby and the school (a prestigious school) is now considering dropping Miki out. They want to protect the school's name and did not want a pregnant student to affect the school or the students. Miki's best friend also seems very opposed and negative about the idea of her being pregnant.
Finally, after much talk with her parents, Miki's parents had agreed to support her decision in having the baby, but in return, she must never meet Kirino again. The two bid their farewells and Miki decides to raise the child herself.
Of course, my summary isn't that good, but that basically gives you how far I have watched. Well, actually, I have seen more and learned more, but don't want to spoil it =)
Seriously, this drama is really emotional and Mirai Shida definately expressed the feelings of the character very well. While I was watching, I did find Satoshi Kirino a jerk and really useless, like seriously. Can't he be more romantic? Grrrr...haha. Well, he's hawt so I'll forgive him =)...I think. Anyways. I really love Miki's parents, they're such supportive parents! Honestly, if you're pregnant at 14, what do you think you'll do. Or if you're a guy and you impregnanted (is that ever a word?) a girl, what would your parents do? Will you abandon the girl and baby or just abort the child? That's cruel, taking a life just like that. Just because the baby wasn't born, doesn't mean the life didn't exist. -I seriously do wonder how people who get pregnant because they're careless feel when they abort their kid? Do they just think they're getting rid of something 'useless' in their stomach?
Well anyways, if I was pregnant when I'm 14...I'd probably get kicked out of the house, talk about giving birth. Miki is actually quite lucky, having such a supportive family. Her little brother is adorable =)
